Born Cassandra Delores Saucedo on the 14th of January in 1995 to Marco and Denisa Saucedo, she immediately was introduced to music. Her grandfather a country music producer and artist, and her mother with a voice of an angel who also sang country music. Sources say that Cassandra Dee's father also had a very talented singing voice. There was no doubt that the amazing talent would be passed down to her. Always hearing music in the house was no shock to Cassandra. Whether, it was Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, or Patsy Cline, there was always something. "I still remember my ma singing to me Patsy Cline songs when I was little and watching Elvis Presley movies and being so fantasied. I knew automatically that was what I wanted to do", she tells us. With a hairbrush and a dream, her grandmother helped her learn country songs and stage presence. She is still learning today and performs where ever she can. Cassandra Dee does many local and non-local competitions. She says every performance improves her presence. Winner of St. Charles River Fest Idol in 2007. Cassandra Dee also won Kendall County Idol in 2010. Cassandra Dee also recently won the Mchenry County Talent Competition Senior Division. She will be competing in the state contest this January of 2012. Also winning numerous competitions in Indiana and performing all over the Chicago area. She is currently learning the guitar and writing many original songs which she is thrilled about and can't wait to record many of them. There's no stopping her now and you will hear alot of Cassandra Dee in the future.
